The Pulse Residency Program aims to support early-stage student start-ups by providing access to tools and resources as they refine their business model and prototypes, undergo customer discovery, and seek initial funding.
Residency teams will also be provided support when applying for next-stage opportunities in various incubators or accelerators in and around Halifax (Collide, Canada's Business Model Competition, ideaHUB, COVE, Innovacorp, Creative Destruction Lab, Volta, Propel).
Advantages of being involved in the residency program include:
- Access to mentors (Pulse staff, start-up creators, Dal faculty)
- Access to Sandbox space
- Access to up to $5000 for reimbursement for eligible expenses
- Access to further funding opportunities (i.e. MITACS)
